The urban planning concept for this new mixed-use building complex at Czernyring creates a striking architectural gateway at the intersection of established neighborhoods and the modern city district. Responding to its prominent location defined by high-traffic corridors, the design introduces a sculptural building ensemble that strikes a harmonious balance between urban density and high-quality public space. The programmatic layout seamlessly weaves flexible office and commercial spaces, service apartments, and retail zones into a highly synergetic structure.

A core theme of the architecture is the formulation of a protective perimeter block development facing the busy thoroughfares. This configuration encloses a finely graduated system of open courtyards within the interior of the block, effectively buffering acoustic disruptions and fostering a calm environment for working and gathering. Facing the streetscape, the design leverages its orientation to form a tall, active plinth level that accommodates vibrant commercial fronts and pedestrian-friendly zones.

The facade design translates the surrounding urban movement into a highly technical, crystalline appearance defined by angled, three-dimensional window panels that create a rhythmic play of reflections. A fully glazed, recessed ground floor sits beneath a warm-toned soffit, opening the entry lobby to the streetscape. The upper volume cantilevers dramatically over a public forecourt, supported by an expressive forest of slanted, V-shaped steel columns that frame a circular pedestrian ramp leading to the subterranean levels. This dynamic structural opening punctures the corner plaza, facilitating fluid, multi-level transitions that weave the new district closely into the civic infrastructure.
